Next month, campaigners from around the UK will be taking part in a week of action to oppose the growing menace of drone warfare

From the Drone Campaign Network:

US, British and Israeli drones have killed hundreds of innocent civilians in Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen, Afghanistan and Gaza. These pilotless killing machines are fuelling anger and terrorism around the world, endangering us all, and are paving the way for a future in which robots make ‘decisions’ to kill.

Next month, campaigners from around the UK will be taking part in a week of action to oppose the growing menace of drone warfare. Events include a week-long peace walk from Shenstone to RAF Waddington (http://tinyurl.com/dronespeacewalk) and a 100-mile bike ride from Fylingdales to Menwith Hill, organised by Yorkshire CND (see www.yorkshirecnd.org.uk). Additional events are already planned for Wales, Oxfordshire, Tavistock, Lewisham and Central London.
