Reflection for action – a week to set you up for the new academic year. Come and join the conversation and leave energised to take action.

Come and experience life in community, share laughter and stories, explore the stunning island of Iona and to reflect on current concerns.

We are delighted that we’ll be joined by Mx Ashwin Africanus Thyssen for this week. Ashwin describes himself as ontologically blackexistentially queer and spiritually christian. He is a junior lecturer in the Department of Systematic Theology and Ecclesiology, Stellenbosch University, teaching church polity, church history, and religion and law.

This week will also be jointly led by Iona Community staff with staff and students from Glasgow University and the Student Christian Movement.

Note re. cost: students in full time education are eligible for our 50% reduction. We want to make sure that cost doesn’t prevent you from joining in with this programme. If you need further financial support for travel and/or for attendance, please contact warden@iona.org.uk – we’ll do all we can to help you join in.
