In the recent post we shared some news from Chitra Karki, whose community has been directly affected by the Nepal earthquake. Chitra studied in Glasgow some years ago, enabled in part by the Wild Goose Resource Group, before returning to Nepal to begin a remarkable ministry there. The WGRG has continued to support Chitra’s work in a church, orphanage and school in Kathmandu and an outlying village. We have been asked to coordinate the Iona Community’s response since we are able to transfer funds directly to him. So, one way of helping to provide for immediate needs of food, water and tents, is to make a donation by sending a cheque payable to ‘Wild Goose Resource Group’ to the Iona Community Glasgow address, or making a transfer into our WGRG Fund account. Please contact [email protected] if you wish to do this, so that we can give you details of our Bank Account or other ways to pay.
