Friday in Falkirk saw the second of our four ‘Holy Humour’ fundraisers.  Once again John Bell, this time aided and abetted by Jo Love from the Wild Goose Resource Group,  entertained a large audience with tales and songs from his own experience as well as from some of the more obscure corners of the Bible.  A wholly humungous £2,500+ was raised for the Capital Appeal so huge thanks to those who organised and supported the event – and to John and Jo too of course.

If you want to catch one of the remaining gigs they are on the 23rd February @ St Paul’s Church Scotforth Road, Lancaster, LA1 4ST and on 24th February @ Heswall URC 199, Telegraph Road, Heswall, Wirral, CH60 7SE. Start time 7:00pm and entry fee £10 – all proceeds to the Capital Appeal – https://iona.org.uk/capital-appeal-information/
