Warmest congratulations to Bruce Kent – a fearless and faithful campaigner for nuclear disarmament – on the award of the 2019 Sean MacBride Peace Prize.
The prize is awarded every year by the International Peace Bureau to a person or organisation who has done outstanding work for peace, disarmament and/or human rights.
Bruce – who has recently celebrated his 90th Birthday – has been actively involved in peace work for over 50 years as part of Pax Christi, CND and the IPB and as an instigator of public debate and organiser of campaigns. For more information visit his website
