Unreliable Impressions. Some thoughts on a hot week in Dortmund

Iona Community Member and EcoChaplain David Coleman, who has  just returned from from the 2019 Kirchentag in Dortmund has gathered together some impressions and thoughts into a blog post.

David writes

As chaplain: I am grateful that study leave is included in my terms of service: it’s an intellectual and spiritual refreshment, and helps give perspective to the task we share in EcoCongregation Scotland. As ever, what follows is opinionated, rather than smoothed out: Unreliable Impressions, though I do my best! There was more to it than I have listed here, and plenty still to think through. Apologies in advance for one or two blips with the positioning of text boxes.

One Response to Reflections from the 2019 Kirchentag

  1. Carol Hefner says:

Thank you so much for sharing this. One comment really hit home to me, “a Christianity of doing rather than being.” I strive to BE in Christ, and all that means in this world where doing is so necessary.
