A small group of campaigners, among them a member of the IC, are fasting publicly in the cloisters of Iona Abbey as a part of the International Fast for Nuclear Disarmament from the time the first nuclear bomb was dropped on Hiroshima on Tuesday, 6 August until the time the second was exploded over Nagasaki on Friday 9 August, engaging in conversations with visitors to the Abbey and campaigning for nuclear disarmament worldwide.
