The weekly service of prayers for healing on Tuesday evenings in the Abbey is a powerful and important experience for many. Throughout the current pandemic, our small staff team on the island continue to faithfully offer these prayers in ways consistent with current restrictions.
Tonight’s service can be viewed via this link on the Iona Community YouTube channel
You can download a copy of the
Liturgy of prayers for healing 26th May and we hope this will enable you to join with us in prayer and feel connected, contributing to, and supported by something which has been an important part of the ministry of the Iona Community, right from its very beginnings.
If you would have names (for individuals or situations) you would like to be included in the service please email [email protected] with ‘prayers for healing’ in the subject line. You do not need to provide surnames or extensive details (just a few words indicating nature – e.g. ‘receiving treatment’ – if you wish). Because of size issues with the video, it will not be possible to record all the names being individually read aloud but all will be included in the prayers at the service.
The work of the Iona Prayer Circle also continues through this time – for more information on this ministry and how to be involved or to request prayer see this page on our website
