Out of the direst depths
A penitential psalm/lament based on Psalm 130
Tune: Southwell (1579)

The pride from my heart
Psalm 131 often seems immodest, a kind of spiritual boasting, but it is about finding tranquillity after realising that one is wrong. Sung to a gentle Gaelic air that expresses the warmth and love implicit in the psalm.

Tune: The Isle of Mull (Scottish traditional)

Sing to God with joy

A hymn of praise about the graciousness of God in caring for exiled and broken people as well as generosity in providing sustenance for the earth. Based on Psalm 147
Tune: Glendon (JLB)
