Wild and Free!
YouthFest 2023: 22nd – 28th July
Young people have been urgently searching for solutions to the climate catastrophe unfolding before us. At Youthfest, 14-18 year olds will gather to take a deep, honest look at this issue.
Together, we’ll consider Creation, connect with the Creator, share stories of hope and activism, and enjoy the wild wonder of Iona.
Youthfest is a time for solidarity. It’s a great space to form new friendships with young people from across the world on this stunning, rugged island with its breath-taking land and seascape.
Watch out for a wild week of encouragement, challenge and inspiration!
Our superb programme includes beach days and scavenger hunts, a boat trip, ceilidh, night time stories and in-depth discussions about what really matters. During YouthFest, we’ll all live in community and participate in daily worship at the ancient Iona Abbey.
‘Watching the sunset on the giant rocks, I felt an immense gratitude to God for granting me this moment in my life.’ Gegeelen Barkhasbadi, YouthFest ’22 participant
