Youth Fest

Our YouthFest programme is open to anyone aged 14-17. For a week, you’ll be living in an ancient abbey on a beautiful, remote island and get to look at life through a completely new lens.

Get ready to explore the island and its beautiful beaches, to make new friends and discover new things about yourself and the world, to ask big questions, and to have fun, whether it’s during creative workshops or a Scottish dancing ceilidh.

Whoever you are, wherever you’re from, you belong and have a place here!

Programme leaders

Ruth is an experienced facilitator of programmes for children and young people. She is also a football coach, events manager, escape room designer, and Associate Member of the Iona Community. Her philosophy revolves around the importance of play throughout life, as essential to learning, connection and joy.
