Biography

I’ve been so lucky to have worked for more than thirty years on exciting community and creative programmes in the UK, US, and Germany. Some of my most memorable roles include collecting family histories for the fledgling New Americans Museum in San Diego, California, helping to create an anti-sectarian community garden in Glasgow, and fundraising for the Snappy Opera programme bringing music, acting and design into hundreds of primary school classrooms across the UK.  I’m passionate about creating connections, building bridges between great ideas and the people who can bring them to life.

When I’m not at work you can find me restoring my family’s smallholding in Cumbria.

What makes me laugh out loud is clever wordplay, puns, and Christmas cracker jokes.
