About us
The Wild Goose Resource Group exists to encourage, enable and equip the shaping and creation of new forms of worship that are relevant, contextual and participatory.
Based in Glasgow, the group is a project of the Iona Community, consisting of Jo Love (Resource Worker), Iain McLarty (Music Resource Worker), Jane Bentley (Music Resource Worker), Iona Kimmitt (Project Support Administrator) and Gail Ullrich (Licensing & Royalties Administrator). We were founded over 30 years ago by John L. Bell and the late Graham Maule.

Worship resources
You’ll find WGRG worship resources – songs, liturgies and recordings – in our bookstore: Wild Goose Publications.
The resources generated by the WGRG as writers have been used and broadcast world-wide, appearing in published form in many different language translations. Their work in allying the worship of the church to the life of the world has been awarded honours by academic and religious organisations on both sides of the Atlantic.

Worship workshops
WGRG are available to design and lead workshops, seminars, liturgy and wee (or big) sings in places large or small on issues of life, faith and participation. In these, the aim is to enable folk to be curious and critical of the way-things-are and so to imagine other ‘possible worlds’, whether ecclesiastical, liturgical, social or political.

In Glasgow, the group from time to time hosts small, local and organic events. These have included short courses on biblical reflection, one-off events with visiting contributors, group conferences, and the flagship annual urban festival, ColumbaFest.
