IONA COMMUNITY NORTH AMERICA
With over 300 Members, Associate Members and Friends in the United States of America and Canada, the Iona Community works closely with the Board of the Iona Community North America (ICNA) to support all in membership in these countries. It is through the ICNA that Family Groups and Regions in this part of the world are growing, finding a deep sense of belonging together within the Iona Community.
Where are we?
Iona Community Members and Associate Members meet in regions: North East, Mid-Atlantic, Mid-West, South and West.
Given the distances involved, we know that many of our Associate Members and Members live far away from others. If this is you, you are invited to join our Dispersed North America Members and Associate Members Zoom group. We meet every six weeks, share the Iona Community daily office and lively discussion.
If you are interested in joining this Dispersed Zoom group, or attending the occasional planning meetings of the Iona Community North America, please contact John Dillon: dillonjohn0800@gmail.com
Donating to the ICNA
Established in 1978, the Iona Community New World Foundation (NWF) is a 501(c)(3) not for profit to further the work of the Community in the United States. The NWF remains the fiscal subcommittee of the ICNA and receives tax deductible contributions to the Iona Community. U.S. donors may send checks payable to the Iona Community New World Foundation Inc., c/o MTG Accounting, LLC, 3199 Route 611, Bartonsville, PA 18321.
American visitors at the Abbey may leave checks in the office to be forwarded on to the Treasurer. This foundation has been held by the IRS to be a tax exempt charity, and all funds collected are for the work of the Iona Community. If the amount requires a receipt for the IRS, one will be sent to a donor.
