John Bell – Thinking Outside the Box

Thinking Outside the Box is both about recognising what boxes our thoughts on matters of life and faith, and seeing things from a different perspective.

Together, we will explore what happens when we focus on the witness of women in the Bible rather than the experience of men; when we investigate the benefits of living on less rather than always expecting to acquire more; when we examine moments in history from the side of the losers rather than the winners.

Come join us for a week of creative thinking, defying the status quo, letting go of the rule books, and thinking outside the box.

Programme Leaders

John Bell is an ordained minister, a member of the Iona Community and a writer and occasional broadcaster. He is a much-loved contributor at Greenbelt Festival. He teaches and lectures worldwide on issues of faith, social justice, music and liturgy.
