In an era in which many people lament the state of politics, the precarious nature of the ecological health of the planet, and the perennial misfortunes of life, there seems to be a gap in religious vocabulary. Praise songs don’t do it all. So what does? In this workshop we look at and learn from the tradition of Lament within the Psalms and in other non-western Christian cultures. And we will do some singing!
