An event every month that begins at 7:30 pm on day Second of the month, happening 3 times
A regular meeting of folk associated with and interested in the Iona Community
There are many people living around the greater Glasgow area who have various degrees of association with the Iona Community. These include official ‘Associates’, ‘Friends’ and unofficial ‘friends of our purpose.
Phil White and Iain McLarty are part of this constituency; and are keen to establish some kind of grouping that includes all of the above.
To explore this further a set of meetings will run between September and Christmas 2016. Further meetings will be considered in due course.
These will take place on the following Wednesday nights following the weekly Iona Community liturgy at the new Iona Community base, which starts at 6.30pm. (Dis)Associational activities will commence thereafter at around 7.30pm.
The Autumn 2016 dates are as follows:
- 14th September
- 12th October
- 9th November
- 14th December (possible – details to be confirmed)
These are very open and exploratory sessions and will be used to develop a clearer idea of what might be desirable after Christmas and in the future.
Everybody who considers themselves ‘associated’ with the Iona Community is very welcome!
Cost: Free (though donations welcomed)
