An event every week that begins at 7:30 pm on Wednesday, happening 4 times
A search for sturdy females, with John L. Bell
“Women don’t seem to have featured much in the story of Christianity until debates about their ordination half a century ago?” Discuss.
The discussion must, of necessity be short, for all the evidence, particularly from the Bible is that women are not the supporting cast but main players.
Why do we never hear about Tamar, Rizpah, the daughters of Zelophehad?
Why is there more written in the Gospels about women in Jesus life than half the male disciples?
Why is a man, John L. Bell of the Wild Goose Resource Group, leading this course?
Don’t answer on a postcard, just come.
Missing Women is a series of 4 events and takes place on Wednesdays 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th of November 2016.
