We share here and uphold words of solidarity and support for the people of Ukraine from our Member, Urzula Glienecke: “With deepest sadness and broken hearts, we have seen the news from Ukraine. An independent, sovereign nation has been violently invaded. People are suffering, people are dying. Greed and power games not worthy of a human being have broken the borders and are taking lives of people who have every right to freedom and dignity.
The Iron Curtain has fallen, information is flowing freely around the world and nations and countries stand together. We stand for freedom, we stand for human rights, we stand for free Ukraine!
We stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian people. And we stand in compassion with the Russian people. We are with you and will do all we can to support you. We stand against all abuses of power and elitism.
