Join us at Iona Abbey, and experience a quieter island in the early days of the season.

March and April offer an ideal time to visit the Isle of Iona. This early spring window is perfect for a peaceful escape before the tourist season picks up around Easter. During these weeks, you can explore the island’s rugged beauty at your own pace, experience the peace of Iona free from the usual crowds.

Come and enjoy the stretching light of the spring evenings, the delight of early spring lambs and maybe even catch sight of the first puffin arrivals on Staffa. And most of all, enjoy the solitude of Iona with the sense of having the place to yourself!
