I am the new Housekeeper at the Abbey and each week, with my team and the other Abbey staff, provide a warm welcome and ensure that guests enjoy great hospitality during their stay.
Biography
I’m married to Chris (Iona Abbey Administrator), we arrived on the island 2 years ago – until February I enjoyed volunteering in the shop, interacting with visitors to the island and guests staying at the Abbey.
Previously we lived in West Yorkshire where I worked for a housing association in Bradford.
What makes me laugh? The sometimes weird questions that are asked by visitors in the Iona Community welcome centre and shop.
