I create and guide the programmes for Abbey guests that combine small-group dialogue, creative exploration and stories. My focus is on cultivating spaces that feel safe, welcoming and inspiring, where growth can emerge naturally and people can simply be themselves. I grew up in the countryside of County Durham, before moving to Birmingham for university, with a brief stint in Edinburgh. I love stories, both real people’s stories and fictional ones. Therefore  I’m a writer, and also a knitter. 

I have worked in community building charities for two years and so have a passion for making people feel welcome, and being involved in community.
