HOLY CITY – ROOT 66: Let’s Talk About Something Else

3 April 2016 @ 2:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Root 66 logo

Root 66 logoHoly City’s Biblical blethers on the hoof continue, at a leisurely, but determined pace.

With Jo Love as guide, taking us on a wee walk along an intriguing route, interspersed by conversations about a seasonal text, this month’s questions will concern the following:

Judges 13 tells an intriguing tale of two people encountering God and also talking about it.

What makes it easy or hard to share our experiences and understandings of God? Are there any Biblical tales that help or encourage us in our God talk? We’ll walk and talk these challenges in the scenic surroundings of Ayr Gorge  – see:  http://scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk/visit/ayr-gorge-woodlands-walk/

Rendezvous points – Glasgow Central in time for 2pm train; or Prestwick Town station 2.45pm; or Failford approx 3pm. (Up to 8 people can be picked up by car at Prestwick.) The walk can be extended slightly to make more interesting length, as we choose. And there’s a nice pub which does good teas/coffees at start/finish!

Part of Holy City’s 2015-16 programme, ‘The Gap’. More info
