Keeping Faith in Hard Times

The election in the USA and the referendum in the UK have dominated the news in the respective nations, torn apart communities and political parties, enabled a rise in racist rhetoric and eclipsed what might be counted as the ‘weightier issues’ of social, international and ecological justice.  Faith communities in many places have either been caught off guard, or have not found a vocabulary with which to address the malaise commonly felt.

In this retreat, led by John Bell, we will look at and for Biblical, theological and spiritual resources to keep us in step with God and out of step with apathy.
