Seen by some as a bogus gift, the imagination is not often regarded as an ally to faith. Yet in both the writing of Holy Scripture and its interpretation, the imagination comes into play as a divine endowment. This lecture explores its significance in reading the bible and in a variety of avenues of the Church’s ministry.
