weeWONDERBOX: Tenx9 with Pádraig Ó Tuama on ‘Glasgow’
December 4, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

A Tenx9 storytelling event with weeWONDERBOX in collaboration with Holy City
Tenx9 is a storytelling event that began in Belfast in 2011. Each night nine people have up to ten minutes each to tell a real story from their lives. It’s wonderful, it’s always free, it’s for ordinary people telling great stories, and it’s happening in your city. The first Glaswegian evening was in January 2015 and is normally held in The Glad Cafe.
However, tonight’s Tenx9 event, for December 2016, will be featuring co-creator Pádraig Ó Tuama himself … and will be a collaboration with weeWONDERBOX at in the Iona Community’s Base at 21 Carlton Court, just south of the Clyde.
The theme will be “Glasgow” – nine stories of up to ten minutes each, telling stories of this great city – moving there, growing up there, living there, leaving there. True stories from your own life about Glasgow. We’re looking forward to a great evening.
If you’re interested in telling a story, have a read of the editorial guidelines (www.tenx9.com/editorialguidelines) and get in touch with Padráig here: tenx9belfast@gmail.com
Padráig is also leading an Urban Retreat, ‘Advent Rhymes – Poems to trouble the season’, at the Iona Community’s Base on Friday and Saturday 2nd and 3rd December. More info here …
The first Tenx9 night in 2017 will be on the 8th February, back at the usual venue of The Glad Cafe.
