Join us as we celebrate Saint Columba and delve deeper into how his remarkable story resonates in 2024. A week of expansive discussion, creative writing, poetry and music.

For creative people who just want to create, live in community, develop skills and forge new connections. Bring your inspiration, your dreams, ideas, work in progress, or just a willingness to collaborate, experiment and learn through play.

Come for some Time and Space to experience life in community at Iona Abbey. This includes participating in regular worship, sharing in meals and joining in community tasks that contribute to our shared life.  Arrive on Saturday or Tuesday of this week for a 6 or 3 night stay.

Explore congregational songs from around the world, including how they can enrich our worship and help us meaningfully connect with God, each other, and the world around us.

YouthFest is a great space to form friendships with young people from across the world on this stunning, rugged island with its breath-taking scenery. Bring your youth group!

Open to all, a week to investigate a different perspective on women’s spirituality, finding inspiration from some of the women in the Bible, and how their stories speak to us today. Facilitated by Evie Nieboer from the Iona Community's Young Adults’ Group.

A week of creative activities, peaceful spaces and workshop/sharing times to enable LGBTQ+ people and those in sympathy to find space for both rest and resistance in a time of change and division. Facilitated by Alex and Jo Clare-Young.

This week will allow you to experience life in community at Iona Abbey. This includes participating in regular worship, sharing in meals and joining in community tasks that contribute to our shared life.  

A week to celebrate co-operation and deepen friendship and understanding between faiths with a focus on caring for and listening to creation. Facilitated by Interfaith Scotland and a climate activist, in partnership with the Iona Community.

Creative writing and art workshops, storytelling, breadmaking, a ceilidh – and more. A week to celebrate creativity and spiritual enquiry. Readings by Wild Goose authors and space to write and share your own poems and prayers.

This week will allow you to experience life in community at Iona Abbey. This includes participating in regular worship, sharing in meals and joining in community tasks that contribute to our shared life.  

A time for Associate Members to gather on the land and in the space that has inspired a movement that offers belonging and challenges us to align God's longing for a world of justice and peace.
