I oversee the logistics of Iona ‘behind the scene’ operations, including Catering, Housekeeping, Maintenance, IT, Admin and Finances. Come to me if something on Iona does not work or is causing a problem.
Biography
Before moving to Iona in September 2019, I was for 2.5 years the Iona Community’s Business Director in Glasgow. Prior to this I was for 12 years Chief Executive of the Ammerdown Centre in rural Somerset: an ecumenical residential retreat and conference centre dedicated to interfaith dialogue, peace and reconciliation.
I gained there extensive experience and skills now proving invaluable to my work on Iona! My job here is a permanent position. I live with my husband Mark in Roseneath Cottage (opposite the Post Office), which we rent from the Iona Community. We both absolutely love living on Iona!
What moves me at my deepest levels are the remarkable personal stories that people are willing to share when they feel safe and accepted for who they are.
