I left school age 16, served 5 years articles in the City of London and qualified as a Solicitor. 5 years commuting led me to wish for a more rural life hence moving to Worcestershire. I served as legal adviser to the Church of England diocese for 22 years. Whilst fulfilling this role I received the call to ordination and served in the area both as self-supporting and stipendiary minister. I also worked as a lawyer for local authorities in Safeguarding role.
I have ministered in rural areas of The Church of England, Church in Wales and the Scottish Episcopal church. Community involvement started 20 years ago attending Sunday morning worship in the Abbey. This led to time as Associate and Hallowing in the Abbey as Member in 2012.
Since then, I served on Council 2014-2018 worked on Iona for 2019 and was Chair of trustees of Church Action on Poverty 2020 – 2023 and since autumn of 2024 have been coordinator of the Community’s Prayer Circle. We moved to South Wales in July 2025 since when I have spent many hours creating a garden from an overgrown wilderness.
