GLOBAL COMMUNITY

In the UK the Iona Community is made up of 11 Regions. Each Region is led by one or more Regional Co-ordinator, although each Region operates differently. Within the Regions there are local Family Groups where we come together to meet, pray, and account for our living of the Rule of Life.

There are four Regions within Europe: Ireland, Germany, Austria & Switzerland (DACH), the Netherlands, and Sweden. Within each of these Regions, local Family Groups come together to meet, pray, and account for our living of the Rule of Life. These Regions are growing rapidly and we welcome Members, Associate Members, and Friends from all across the continent. We have strong links with the Corrymeela Community in Ireland.

Across the USA & Canada there are multiple Regions which are growing rapidly. Within some of these Regions there are local Family Groups where we come together to meet, pray, and account for our living of the Rule of Life. Due to the size of our Regions we often meet online.

The Iona Community is currently expanding in Australia and New Zealand. We have many Associate Members and are aiming to create more Regions where Members and Associate Members can meet locally. We most often meet online together, and with other Members and Associate Members throughout the world. We have a particularly strong relationship with the Wellspring Community.

Members and Associate Members in other parts of the world meet as frequently as time and resource allows. Members and Associate Members live out our commitment to the Rule of Life as locally as possible. We actively welcome membership from our global community and are seeking ways to support the growth in international membership.
